Banking Question

Rosbif71 In England it is possible to get a Bankers Draft. Its a cheque drawing on the banks funds rather than an account. The bank takes the funds from your account when issuing it. Is there an equivalent in Dubai banking? when I called my bank (not one of the best) they were talking about a Demand Draft, which I dont think is the same.

May be you need to ask them about "manager's cheque".
In this case the bank takes money from your account and issues manager's (bank's) cheque.
This way the receiver of the cheque will be 200% sure that the cheque will be paid. Rosbif71 thanks. it does appear that if its within the UAE its a managers cheque i need! thanks everyone!
