Its a personal thing Mike, like have you lived OS before, are you tolerant, adventurous etc.
i love it here, obviusly though it has its negatives and positives.
Night life/bars/restaurants is excellent. Shopping is like no other. i went back to the gold Coast last month for three weeks and didnt buy a single thing as i knew i'd get more here
Seriously search the forums. There is heaps of posts on likes, dislikes, money etc
