At present time, michael hawk is working on an artistic round-the-world travel project - THE GLOBAL ELEMENT - heading for 5 recordings of the traditional five spiritual elements (earth-fire-water-air and space) at specific locations throughout the world - among others, Dubai (desert dune shots for the EARTH element.
final work will form a large-scale video installation of five, specifically new kinds of High Definition video streams - extreme motion slowdowns -(probably first to be seen in Europe) find some of his work shown online @ www.videovoodoo.de
michael hawk is seeking short-term support for the Dubai work stay (from Feb 16th to 21st) from location advice (sand dune fields *w/o car tracks*) to accomodation possibilities.
Maybe someone would be interested in having a contemporary artist to spark off some interesting conversations on art, philosophy and more?
