Hi all!
My family and I have been here for 5 weeks and starting to settle in. We have not seen or met too many others from the states. It would be nice to network with someone else from the states. It would also be great to meet some other westerners who might be interested in getting together.
This post is really open to anyone who is interested in fishing and might throw some information my way. We moved from arizona where I did quite a bit of freshwater fishing and upland hunting. I am really looking for someone to fish with or maybe go to the jebel ali shooting club and shoot some clay birds.

AFAIK there's no fresh water fishing in the country. The only one is deep sea fishing. Though I read in a travel book that one can go fishing at Kalba Creek (Khor Kalba, under Sharjah emirate), 10 km South of Fujairah.
