I've been looking at the prospects of a move to Dubai. I was looking at the website and it looked like there were lots of publishing jobs. However, I don't know if that is actualy the case on the ground over there.
I am a magazine editor, and my background is journalism, but I have also done extensive work as a copyeditor -- some for tech companies (mainly editing web content, but not technical editing) and some for actual publishers (ie, books etc.).
Are there publsihing jobs available, and if so, what is the salary structure like? I assume newspaper work would be lower paid, so I would really be interested in what corporate copyediting pays.
Any information or leads would be greatly appreciated.
