another visa question

sage & onion
Which Nationality is he?
pasha thanks! do you know if he would be able to come with me at the same time? I have a daughter and we travel as a family or would I need to sponsor him while he is in Canada or the UK pasha If I am sponsored on a work visa, would my husband automatically be eligible for a work visa or would he need to get a visitors visa, look for work etc. Ideally he would accompany when I arrive? Thanks sage & onion I believe your husband would need to get a seperate visa for working, you can sponsor your husband for a residence visa only, providing your salary is I think over Dhs. 4,000.00 per month. pasha I am dual Canadian and British and he is Canadian. devilsdiciple Sage I believe only a certain category of female workers are allowed to sponser their spouses!!!!Doctors, Teachers and a few others....I dont know exactly but this has been answered in an earlier post.... sage & onion
Canadian Passport holder will get 2 months visa at the airport upon entry so no problem. fayz
You may wish to check this I read from one of Concs posts that it has recently been changed back to 30 days, but very easy to renew just drive/fly out of the country and back in. devilsdiciple Guys she is talking about Residence Visa, not tourist visa sage & onion
Agreed and that was answered, she also asked about a visitors visa.

Chocoholic To answer the quesiton in the simplest terms, her husband can enter the country on a visitors visa for 30 or 60 days which ever it is. She cannot be her husbands sponsor for a residence visa unless she comes under a certain profession as has already been stated, and he would have to find a job and get his own residence visa through his work sponsor. devilsdiciple
