Researchers always do the stupid things to seek grants from Governments or other institutions and sometime they come up wid stupid stuff.
It is very simple when you go little bit far the he iris of eye shrinks and we dont see signs on left face. There are some games of retina and retina.

There is nothign amazing here, if you notice the image is double layered, so one image is focused in near distance and if you go some distance back the image at the back gets focused more. If you have learnt Photogrammetry u will easily realize it ajoy EJ you said ' another illusion ' ... where is the previous one.. its an illusion no doubt..well photogrammetry, as far as i know is some kind of remote measurement technique for 2D or 3D objects.. sniper can you explain further, how this is actually happening.. easternjewel
