After being involved in a slight accident with my car and being the culprit myself :oops: I was taken through the procedure of calling the police and explaining everything - actually everything here went well here.
The problem started with the body shop in al-Ramoul - after just sitting on the car for two weeks somebody decided to make an estimate - probably only because I kept hounding them ...

then the insurance took 1 week to give it the all clear!
The approval finally came and after another week had gone by - I was shocked to hear that it was in a queue to be repaired :sad1:
That makes it four weeks and now five weeks without a car in Dubai :sad2:
No one seems to know for how long ... ! BEWARE the black hole in al-Ramoul ... sucks your car in and never gives it back! You might be better taking it to another Toyota garage
And for those people who jump the queuing system in the body shop - as Buzz Lightyear would say "You are a sad, strange, little man. You have my pity. Farewell"
