Can anyone advise me wether it is legal or otherwise to "Home Brew" your own beer? It is all the rage in Aus at present and some good drops about as well. Sorry if this is a double post as the 1st one I did disappeared.

Illegal and probably not worth the hassle even if you can get the ingrddients. They'll probably arrest you for possesing a hyrdrometer!
