R u Muslim?
On a recent KLM flight from Amsterdam to Dubai Muslims were not allowed to take bottles of alcohol on the plane. Probably UAE government started complaining that Muslimor locals were taking alcohol.

No no you'll be fine, you can bring alcohol with you. Although if you want to save yourself some money, but the booze at the Duty Free in Dubai airport when you get off the plane, next to baggage collection, 50 Dhs for a litre bottle. Actually you're allowed to bring 4.

buy it when you get here, there is a duty free in the arrivals hall after immigration before you collect your luggage - plus it will be cheaper than Europe and saves carrying

Dubai Airport site says
Quote:
- Duty Free Concessions:
2 litres liquor
2 litres wine
10 cartons cigarette
100 cigars
But that may not be correct - I was sure the cigarette limit had been changed to 1 carton a couple of years ago.
