I have not played in the UK for about 1 year due to working too much, but i should have some spare time hopefully when i come to Dubai. Before that i played airsoft around the UK for about 4 years
I have sold a lot of my kit, but i do still have my trusty TM AK47 with metal body and Guarder Wood kit :)
Will i have any problems bringing airsoft guns into Dubai?

There's one in Sharjah. I will ask my friend if i can disclosed the exact location. Lots of Guns there. :D Just google, they have website.

Are there any venues to play airsoft in Dubai?
Airsoft is a bit like paintball, except the guns look real and they fire small lightweight BBs instead of paint. Airsoft comes from Japan, but is getting popular in the West as well.
I have searched google and all i could find was a hobby / model shop in Dubai that sells the guns.

im new in dubai, i still dont know the streets, so im living a nightmare,......anyways guys i was searching the net for months to find anything related to airsoft in this area, and finaly i found your conversatio.so please comrads can any one of u tell me where the hell can i get my airsoft rifle, any shop, deallers, and by the way i couldnt find the site of the dealers in sharjah, even by google :(

You will not find local dealer info on the net. This country is ten years behind when it comes to the net.

Ive been doing airsoft for about 3 years now. Me and my friends here back in the States love it. It is so much more fun then paintball. Seems alot more realistic. Hopefully when I come to Dubai in 4 months, Ill find a good airsoft course.

yes man airsoft is much better than paintball specialy if you have an UTG or a super 9 pro sniper rifle.
man what is your piece, and what extra gears do you have ?

Sorry, didn't differentiate between paintball and BB before. Last I heard, they were trying to ban BB guns here, although I do have a very weak 'gift' BB handgun lying around somewhere.

Hey guys, I have posted some info regarding a shop where you can buy AEG. Take time to browse on for AIRSOFT ANYONE?
Anyways, what i'm trying to say is there is a shop in DRAGON MART where you can buy the hardware. Walk along the FA section of the compound. It's along a hallway beside a coffee shop in FA section. I'm just not sure i'f they are selling TM brand. JG brand is much better because the package comes along with a changer unlike TM. The performance is almost the same sometimes even better. Out of the box JG items can shoot BBs up to 450fps. I just don't know if the sell items for upgrades like the gearbox, RIS, scopes, illuminators and pointers. Price ranges from 350dhs for a descent AEG (full metal gear box).
About the games, they are being held around UAE. Warehouses in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, desert in Oman is where it usually being played. Most of the players are Pilipino.
