i guess i came to dubai on the tail end of comfort... when i got here, about three years ago, there was still a 12T studio flat in baraha. now even in baraha you wouldn't be able find such a price! rooms that rented for 1,500 were whole rooms - now all i see in the clasifieds are partitions - duh.
before i bought my laptop, wifi was free. now, it's with a fee.
before i got my car, the gasoline was cheaper and there's no salik... and now...
why oh why oh why?
sigh... just the rant of a tired affordable flat-hunter.
