Greetings!!! I am a married man moving to Dubai from London and will be working in HR. I am looking for a 1 bedroom flat for 6 months (not sharing) commencing 22rd Dec 06. I will be in Dubai from the 6th December onwards for any viewings.
After 6 months, I intend to move to a bigger place since my family will arrive in summer 07.
Can anyone recommend a cost effective means of accomodation for this interim period? I am concerned since most places are let for one year. Is this the case?
Would a serviced apartment/hotel work out cheaper? I will be working on Sheikh Zayed Road (Nr World Trade Centre). Gym and swimming pool are essential and must have good local services in neighbourhood eg chemist, shops, cafe,restaurant etc.
Look forward to your help/thoughts/suggestions on cost, areas and the best solution. What do you say???? Open to proposals from agents with suitable properties. Pls PM me with details!!!

Thanks V Man. I am seeking a place with swimming pool in a good compex. I will pay the going rate as long as its not extortionate.
