Hi Richard,
There are 2 places you can look. The British Consulate in Dubai and the British Council.
The Consulate will deal with the visa issues and a quick trip there will soon give you all the information you require. They have a website and Google will take you there.
The British Council have just moved to a new site in Academic City and they are the fountain of knowledge when it comes to studying either in country or residential in the UK. There is a huge curriculum to choose from and their counsellors will be able to help. Again, check out their website via Google.
