A car lift is required (preferably by a lady) for a lady. From Morooj Rotana Hotel Bld to Dubai Marina at about 5.40 pm. From (Sat) Sun to Thu. Sometimes morning lift will be required, to reach Morooj Rotana Hotel Bld at 8 am. Please pm. (Edited MOD) Thank you.[/b]

Car lifting is against the law in this country. Apparently it is governed under the traffic law to protect the fellow cab drivers in this country. Just curious though, does the law prohibit car lifting one person or multiple ??
Having said that, car lifting is everywhere! All the best.

Not quite. The RTA claim to want to support car pooling but the authorities seem to have trouble distinguishing between private taxis (illegal) and car pools (not), fining friends and colleagues for giving each other lifts.
As you say though, private taxi shares are common, lots of them here -
