Can I get a 30 day Visit Visa extended at DXB Airport?
Sadly, a quick trip to Oman is out of the question
If not at DXB Airport, will the Immigration Dep be open on Saturday?

I don't know if you can get a visa extended at the Airport - maybe the e-gate office (24 hours) can help but don't count on it. Try the Immigration Department near the trade center roundabout today - they're open until 8pm I think. Sometimes they're open on Eid holidays but shorter hours, try something like 10am-1pm. Not usually open on Saturdays. Phone them to check.

For the record; I did a visa run (canadian) to Hatta, oman. Went through no problems.
I figure they need all the people they can get to stay in the UAE.

You can go down to DNRD in Bur Dubai for a visa extension - around 600Dhs for 1 month, should be no problem as long as you came in through Dubai

If you are Canadian, you did a "good" visa run. Mallus, Kabayans and Bengalis do "bad" visa runs, so they are not allowed in before 1 month.
