Hi - just a quick recap of my past week. I didn't get much time out of the meetgin rooms, but had a few cab rides in each city
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday: Damascus
I love that place, a little run down, but people are amazingly nice and the weather is perfect. We were sittign outside at 26 degrees at night having one shisha after the other.
The trip back to the airport was on the day that the US embassy was nearly hit by the car bomb, so I didn't get a chance to see much.
Wednesday, Thursday: Riyadh
I saw the airport, highway and the hotel, that's it. So nothing to report...
No shisha...
Friday, Saturday: Doha
Great weather again (Shisha less good than Damascus :D ), went for a drink in the Four Seasons, drove around City Center for 20 minutes and then off to the airport.
Hope that I'll have more time to visit for my next trips. Right now I have lined up Jeddah, Dammam, Yemen, Bahrain, Pakistan, Kuwait, Jordan and Lebanon until the end of the year  and I'll make sure to post something here....

Actually Riyadh does have shisha but its outside the city limits. Its around 50 riyal cab ride outside the city in an area called Thamama .. there are huge Shisha cafes there .. But yeah nothing in the city itself.
I also heard Jeddah is going to make it illegal too
