So I get hungry the other night at about 4 in the morning and go looking for a drive thru maccas.
I drove past crown plaza but I wasn't sure if it was drive thru and there was construction around the place anyway, so i kept going. Never mind, I was pretty sure that beach road was 24hr. On the way I passed Hardies and KFC, both closed.
Then I get to maccas on beach road and its closed as well. Bugger.
As a last resort I headed over to MOE and as I'm crossing Shiek Zayed Road, to my delight I see the golden arches lit up at the Emarat station. But as i get closer I realise that someone just left the lights on. Typical.
It then occurred to me that maybe there is no 24 hour, drive thru maccs in Dubai.
How is this possible?
