I would like to wish one and all a Happy New Year and to remember the sacrifices are forefathers made with the Prophet in the Name of God in the summer of 622 A.D. (Gregorian calandar) to ensure that His Word Lives, by leaving the relative confort of Mecca and venturing out into the hot and inhospitable Arabian desert to Medina.

With all my respect, if you ask me our islamic new year is aint a happy one coz its starts with muharram.......a month of sorrow.....atleast the 1st 10 days are days of sorrow............

I view it as sorrow, true... But also as a New Begining of the people of the world. That painful and fateful journey changed this history of man for the better....
