I have heard of people getting into problems - well, getting jailed actually - for bringing in certain items that are banned in UAE.
I am not refering to obvious items such as drugs but to items which are not so obvious. For example, a spice called 'kas kas' which is commonly used for cooking in India is considered as a drug here.
Please help in creating a list of banned items for the benefit of those who may otherwise bring banned items unintentionally.
Also, is there a website where one can get a comprehensive list of such items?
Jeevan
