IMHO, if they educate themselves and work hard enough (It's not just about making more babies! lol!)- and not depend on disease-ridden slave labor, they might retain some of their national identity by building their nation themselves. Though I can't imagine their ways merging with the 21st century and seeing locals sweating it out in construction sites.
Or, they can opt to part with their H3's and PS3's- the materialistic western lifestyle and go back to living in tents, shepherding sheep in the desert, and ride camels while holding up a falcon.

Locals? we all know locals are only in thousands in UAE and are getting less and less year by year.....no more pure locals....all of them mixed, asians, europeans....
What we? there is no we....so i think the only educated smarted people who you refer to as "we" arrrrrrrrrrrrrrre the filipinos, indians, and foreigners.....
You got one side of the story right...but not the other...
And if you dont get what im trying to say, ask yourself and the so called local people you know around you...
