CALLING ALL ACTORS, SINGERS & DANCERS… 6-60!
West-End based ‘Popular Productions Ltd’, one of Dubai’s most prolific and successful producers of theatre are searching for actors, singers and dancers to use in there upcoming productions.

Where? The Kilchand Studio, The Community Theatre, Mall of the Emirates

When? May 17th 2007 from 10:30am until 16:00

How? The open auditions will commence at 10:30am – you will be seen on a strictly first come first served basis, this will be administered by a numbered ticket given to you on arrival. You will need to bring with you a photo and (if you have one) a C.V outlining your previous work.
Please note:
1. If you are under 16 then please bring a parent or guardian with you to the open audition. Only one parent/guardian per child can be admitted to the theatre.

2. We cannot guarantee to see everybody that turns up, we will work on a strictly first come, first served basis.

3. Please bring with you any equipment necessary for your act. Singers please note a pianist will NOT be available on the day so you will need to bring with you a backing track or be prepared to sing unaccompanied.

Remember - First come, first served so be prepared to wait!

“We have several shows in production over the next 12 months including plays, comedies and musicals. The purpose of these open auditions is to see what talent there is available for us to employ in Dubai. We are confident that within the next year we will be able to merge our West End casts with the top talent we find at these auditions. So please, come along and show us what Dubai is made of.

These productions followed the company's acclaimed productions of ‘The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged!)’, Willy Russell's 'Educating Rita' the hit revival of the West End comedy musical 'I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change', John Osborne's classic play 'Look Back in Anger' and Stephen King's thriller 'Misery' which starred Susan Penhaligon and Michael Praed at the Kings Head Theatre, London. Our next Dubai production is ‘Blues Brothers Unlimited’ which opens on June 28th at DUCTAC.
