I am an Indian expat and offered IT (Technical Architect) job in Dubai.

Sal --> 19000 /m with Insurance.

I have 10 years of experience in Software Development and I am moving with my wife and 7months old son. Is it a good salary?

Is it in INR or AED?

And what is the exp. in IT do You have? Because they do matter. And is it a contract or a Full Time Job that You are about to Join?

It 19000 AED per month and I have 10 years of exp in IT. It if full time job.

19K AED is an okay salary to live in Dubai with Wife. However, considering your experience of 10 years and job title of Technical Architect, you can get a range of 25-40K

It is a usual mistake done my expats by converting the offered AED salary to local currency and forget to research about the cost of living. Yes, cost of living is very high when compared to Indian cities.
