Looks like the Dubai IT jobs market is shaping up to be OK in March.

The number of jobs advertised is increasing and some of the existing skills in the market have move to Qatar, KSA etc.

I'm taking back what I said about March could be OK for IT jobs in Dubai. It was the worst month yet. Almost not Dubai IT jobs online or in the news papers.

I am new to this forum. I am a SAP consultant working in INDIA and looking for the same in Dubai. Can anyone suggest me where can I get IT (SAP) job postings in Dubai or any consultant lists or anything.
By the way, how is the SAP market there now?
Please help me out in this.

As you know SAP projects take years so those already working are OK.

It's very hard to know whats going on as this week I saw lots of IT jobs in Gulf News

Software testing jobs in Dubai are very rare and hard to come by. In my limited knowledge there are very few companies in Dubai that has an inhouse testing team. One of them is Emirates Group IT (formerly known as Mercator).

You can try your luck there.

So what do you guys think is happening to the IT jobs market in Dubai now.

I see that the regional jobs are safe as the costs of basing people out of Dubai is dropping (rent, cars etc) but 100% local jobs still are hard to come by and salaries look set to tumble further

Just now joined the forum..
I am working as a Senior Software engineer-working in Mainframe Technology at a leading sofware company in India. within 6 months, i am gonna relocate to Dubai. I have heard like, there are only very few Mainframe openings in Dubai...So..i am planning to study some other technolgy within this span.Could anyone of you help me with which technology I should go for? I was thinkng of like learning Dotnet. Will it be good??

Oh wow the last two years have really sucked for IT jobs in Dubai but it's getting much better now.
