Well here's the thing... I am going on a business trip to Oman sometime next week. Going to spend 6-7 days there and will go by car (no this isn't a typo...)

Anyway I don't want to sit and mope in my hotel room at night so does anyone have any suggestion as to what I could do after I get back from my customers? I will be in Muscat BTW.

I know you're the wrong side of Oman for this, but if you get the chance to take a weekend drive, head to Khasab in the Musandam. Just drive up through the border controls through RAK. It's beautiful up there. Stay at the Golden Tulip Hotel and take the full day Dhow cruise, where you'll do some snorkelling, see little fishing villages and the highlight is the dolphins. It's amazing for a weekend break.
