All discounts by furniture shops. Who would invest in furniture when in danger of losing jobs and homes.

And what is this? > 50% discounts? Doubt they are selling in loss. Only proves how much profit margins they have.

Why don't Dubai businesses advertise their wares.........property, gold, diamonds, jewellery , holidays etc etc on sites like that
www.visit-dubai.co.uk or one of the others?

It seems to me that Dubai could MARKET MORE on the internet.
DROP YOUR PRICES TOO!!
Cut the flight and hotel prices to bring in new customers!

Another idea is to buy a Dubai DOMAIN NAME to set up your own web-site, to sell or advertise commodities or property.
A good domain will pay for itself .

I see adverts on this site, but they do not reach customers in UK, USA, France , Germany, etc etc.
Whereas a good informative tourism web-site does. with all due respect to you on this forum, it is very good, but it is mainly for INSIDERS who know Dubai.

To MARKET Dubai globally and sell to OUTSIDERS in the big wide world, it needs MULTI-LINGUAL web-sites like the one I mentioned earlier to promote various aspects of the place. That was www.visit-dubai.co.uk if you missed my point.
There are two or three good sites at the top when you enter "Visit dubai" into Google. I harp on about that search term because the UK tourism site is visitbritain.com; Sweden is visitsweden.com ; London is visitlondon.com ; Belgium is visitbelgium.com etc etc

You know... All I care about is for people here in UAE to save during crisis.
