All the time IV! It drives me insane, I'm a very light sleeper too. I often find a mug of warm milk before bed helps, there's something in it which acts as a natural relaxant.

Hi Vee

I have trouble sleeping too!! Don't know why, but I rarely get to sleep before midnight, and I'm always awake at 5am!! Grrrr. Tried all sorts or remedies - including a cocktail of sleeping tablets - but nothing works!! Double Grrrrr!!

Sleep well!!

i observe so many peolpe have sleep related problems here..

all artificial means of inducing sleep as adopted by some of us are not effective in the long run..

the mantra is.. at the end of the day your body should be tired and your mind content with the work you have done or value added...

if your normal day to day activities cannot tire you.. take to some sports or some kind of exercises which gives you some mental relaxation too..

if you cant sleep even then, you may pm me for free consultation on nature treatments.. :)

Urgh, I was waking up every hour last night, it was seriously doing my head in. Feel knackered to day now because of it.

Did u read my mind last night or what V? I seem to have a time window to get to sleep. If I dont sleep while I am tired then my brain switches my body back on and won't let me go to sleep. Happened again last night and am completely lagging today.

Chamomile tea and/or warm milk, and don't exercise three hours before bedtime. Reading a book is a good idea. Don't do anything too stimulating - like listen to really loud music or watch TV programmes that jump around a lot, e.g. Lots of graphics flashing on and off, and even the news is bad because it jumps from story to story with lots of graphics and ticker tape at the bottom of the screen. Another good idea is to do some gentle stretching because it is relaxing and helps those tense muscles you have accumulated in the day.

Well, what you do in the privacy of your own home (or other peoples homes if thats what floats your boat) is up to you, and its certainly not going to help me get to sleep tonight!

ooooohhhhhhhh ohhhhhhhhhhhh ohhhhhhhhhhhh who's throwing their dummy out of the pram then ? :P :P

Or you just pissed at having to "slap the salami" every night.

or try some "lighten-up" tonic, being stressed and as pissy as fuk as you seem to be, its no wonder you can't sleep
