There are some Legitimate firms online like freelancer, odesk, guru, Amazon Turk etc. that you can register with. Regostration is free, and you can apply for jobs posted there by various firms/websites etc. It's like a meetingplace where skill sellers and skill buyers meet.

odesk and guru are helpfull. but you can take that as a part time. Dubai market is in need of content writer and there is a good demand which offer an employee a good package.
