What a refreshing sight... to see all the dirt and wash away... together with trafic cones, rubbish bins, someone's newly planted garden, the occasional Peugeot...

What a rejuvenating exeprience... driving on the sidewalk and across lawns...

And through all this, including having to wade through submerged walkways... my socks are dry.

Liban, how's the house now?

Well since the gale force winds have died down, the water isn't coming in anymore....

I gotta say, the construction quality in Dubai is extremily shoddy...

But its a nice site... Too see all those construction fences flying around, or the occasional Peugeot (like Guilo2 said), or the occasional flower pot smashing into the windsheild of my neighbor's brand new BMW 330ci (sucka!!! haha)...

I love it how the Indian laborers are rejoicing at the site.... My security guard comes up to me brandishing a HUGE smile saying GOODMORNING SIR WHAT A GREAT MONSOON, I AM SO SO HAPPY... His cheery mood made me pat him on his back in agreement.

Still, its FCUKED UP!!!!!!!! NEver thought to see something like this during this winter since it was quite dry...

When I was in the UAE as a child, I remember huge hail storms with thunder, lightening, and wind.... This is a little taste of it.... But at its height this morning, sure felt like a Florida hurricane!!!!

I still reckon a dry stink is better than a damp stink... but in a perfect world, there'd be no stick at all.

Ajoy,

You got tickets? Been to earlier matches?

Just wondering if you noticed if there are tickets still available at the gate?

I didn't see any tickets being sold legitimately at the gates.

Forgive my ignorance but is there a stance on scalpers in the UAE? Are there rules against it here?
