Sheikh Al Nahyan dead? Mar 28, 2010
No, not S. Khalifa but his brother S. Ahmed Al Nahyan .... crashed in Morroco?

I do find it odd that the pilot survives .....

Why? Depends whether he was able to get out or not. He's still not been found, no news.

This might sound like a heartless question (because it is), but what are the chances that there'll be a national day of mourning (holiday) when it's finally announced that he's gone the way of the dodo?

S Ahmed Al Nahyan is now confirmed dead. May he rest in peace. Mourning starts from Wednesday. Not sure if there will be public holiday ....

3 days of mourning starting from Wednesday, does this mean there is a public holiday? I'm surprised nobody knows.

There may well be a holiday for the public sector...but not the private sector. As usual.

Just take 3 days off DK, then mourn on day 1 at the Barasti, then day 2 at the Barasti and finally on day 3 (Friday) a farewell mourning, all day with brunch and all you can drink session at the Barasti - sorted

Another tragedy is upon us as no days off have been announced. A true sign of disrespect to the Nahyan family.

Teddybear, seriously get over yourself. You can't expect the entire place to grind to a halt. Live goes on.

We mourned last night, at Barasti, then Bar Zar. And we shall do the same again tonight. Not 100% that all events are cancelled either, no official word.
