Sorry if the question was unclear - could you please confirm if this post was made by you?

Salaam,

I would like clarification from Mr Irshad and Mr Rashid from the Quran to
show why they believe that a false prophet can make prophecies in the name
of Allah and these come true. The Quran says that only Allah knows the
future (something hidden) and only reveals this knowledge to his Messengers.

I am a reasonable person who just wishes to know why I should not believe
this verse of the Holy Quran and how someone can falsely make a prophecy in
the name of Allah and have thousands of these prophecies fulfilled
literally?

Does Shaitan have knowledge of the future? All fortune tellers, astronomers
and soothsayers (including Nostrodamus) made general predictions and then
not in the name of Allah.

Wasalaam
Shafique

I know it feels like we are going round in circles - but in what way was my answer to you about Jesus' crucifixion unclear?

Was it the part where I said I believe what God says in the Quran?

:bigsmurf:

It reminds me that I'm waiting for you to answer the following questions (I'll only list 3):
1. Do you believe in Rapture
2. Do you condemn Goldstein as a religious terrorist (despite the fact he was Jewish, American born and white)
3. Do you believe that the Bible is correct when it lays the blame of killing Jesus on the Jews?

That said, what does Islam say about Prophecies made in the name of God?

I know that Deut 18 says that a test for a true prophet is to see whether a prophecy made in the name of God comes true - but that is the Bible and not the Quran.

Perhaps you can look into this question - as it pertains to the Quran and you believe you are an expert. ;)

Cheers,
Shafique
