Dubai Food Festival 2009

Just wondering if any of you have been to Dubai Food Fest and if so, how it was... I couldn't make it last year and don't know what to expect...

I'm planning to go sometime this week, definitely this Tuesday for the Buffet. Hoping it doesn't disappoint me!

PS - I love food :)

Miss_lolly --> I reckon it's called as Dubai Food Festival and not Gulf Food Exhibition - but hey, I could be wrong!

Thanks Jot...
I'll have that as my backup plan should tomorrow's buffet be a disaster.

Way back in late 1990s I had gone for Trekking and Canoeing in Khor Kalba which was organised by an educational institution. It was just amazing... I tried repeating that experience in 2005, but couldn't find that place!!!!
Would love to go to that place again. it was really nice!!

Re: the +923 numbers scam - I believe you'll have to lodge the numbers and/or other info with Etisalat / Telecommunication Regulatory Authority. I didn't attempt this Wasel card thinking it may land me into trouble. For all you know they can retrieve your incoming / outgoing numbers based on this wa...

Just a suggestion, If karayakar doesn't foresee coming to Dubai anytime soon and has also relieved the AED 25, you can donate this amount against a charity organisation / donation boxes. I believe you can also donate using your mobile credits - at least they had it during Dubai Cares and other simil...

I thought yesterday's weather was a killer!

I drank 1L of water around 1pm and another 2L of shakes/laban in a span of 2 hours between 2 & 5pm

Needless to say, I was outdoors during most parts yesterday afternoon :(
