(and just a factual clarification - the Jews from the countries I wrote are call Mizrahim, the Sepharidic Jews ...

So some Jew living in Baghdad or Tripoli was kicked out of their country because of some Jew from Germany who moved to Palestine?

If that's the case, who's classifying them as a race?

I also think the variety and value of food here is GREAT...just stay away from the food courts (cr@p) and the hotel buffets ($$$$). What I like best - its an amazingly safe place (I mean about not being mugged; getting run-over when crossing the street is a different story). I can leave things in my...

While the reaction of Israel has been extreme, I would not say it was unexpected. The system of collective punishment has been used by years by the Israeli army in their 'administration' of the territories. Of course, there are a lot of 'hidden' reasons for this reaction. 1) Hamas and Israel and not...

Subway here has bad vegetables and the bread isn't 'oven fresh.' And they don't put enough vegetables on the sandwiches also.
Cinnabon - charged for extra syrup.
Pizza Hut - cheese DEFINATELY isn't the same.

That's why I go for the Mid-Eastern or Indian food.

You're WAY OFF on this one. If you would read any sort of demographic information about Israel you would see how few do reserve duty. This is in fact one of the biggest conflicts in Israeli society, is what is seen as the lack of fairness reguarding who does reserve duty. Don't try and group all of ...
