Excellent movie. Although with all these politically based movies you never know how much is reality and how much is a situation enhanced for the theatrics. Seems like a lot of these political movies came out in the last year: Syriana, The War Within, Munich.....I guess there were a few more.

Problem with flying anywhere is that this is 'in-season' so you're not going to get a cheap flight + hotels......$1K isn't going to get you too far.

I agree with that. I just get irritated by the hypocrisy here - in Dubai and in this forum. Israel/Jew bashing is quite popular, lots of great rhetoric. When it comes to actaully DOING something to help the Palestinians....well that's when everyone has stepped out for a coffee break.

I don't think its illegal to be Jewish in Dubai. If you have a stamp from Israel in your passport they won't let you in no matter what religion you are.

i know a local girl visited isreal for media work & nothing happened to her I have a feeling that she didn't get her passport stamped. Before I went there I requested through the embassy not to get my passport stamped when I visit and they stamped on a separate paper. That way I can travel free...

Most people's interactions with locals is limited to when you have to go to Etisalat, Post office or DEWA. Unfortunately, most public sector clerks in ALL countries are not known for their efficiency, wisdom or work-ethic.
