Try searching then. Or Google.

Then again, your obvious appreciation might encourage a few more replies. Gee, I'm glad I did.

I was thinking of renting a small warehouse and stocking some timber and other building materials. Not so easy in Dubai Internet City. Maybe Jebel Ali Free Zone but then you have costs associated with exporting products out of there to Dubai. And logistical difficulties if you expect retail custome...

Take the handbrake off.

You must be wringing it. I was getting that from a V8 on a 300 km per day commute. Cruising at 120.

Re: Birth Control methods

dskwork wrote:and I was wondering can you get the birth control pill out there?

Yes, at pharmacies, no prescription or marriage certificate needed. If you're not married, don't draw attention to the fact, don't annoy your neighbours, don't live in Sharjah, and you'll probably be fine.

Re: UAE sponsor for new business setup in the UAE.

Can this be true? Can't he show up after a period of time and take half the business? I think contracts can be drawn up that set out the terms of your partnership clearly but I'm not a lawyer. The Lynx Group are business start up consultants that might be worth trying - I know the name only because...

The law is not enforced in Dubai... Yes it is, but not consistently. An Indian maid living with her gardener boyfriend will probably end up in trouble. Two unmarried westerners staying in a hotel for a holiday won't, unless they break other laws (eg take drugs, have se x in public, etc). Go togethe...

Re: Birth Control methods

I love to see you people doing this, you simply advise people to go ahead and break the law, are you ready to stand in court and support them if they get into trouble?????. No I'm not. I was just trying to give realistic answers. You already said it was against the law, I didn't disagree with you. ...

Unlikely but depends what you're comparing it to.

Try some recruitment agencies in Dubai - they may be looking for short term hires to replace people away for the summer months.
