Hmmmm

Don't want to upset you, but room with seperate bath @800-1000 per week is more like it, if you are looking for accom in Dubai. Either you take up sharing accom in some corner of Sharjah (central will also not fit that budget) or be willing to share a room with at least 1 or 2 other people.

Cheers

eczema

Either there's been some mis understanding or your doc has not got all his info correct. I am not a doctor...but a mother of an eczema sufferer and have researched on this for years now. First of all, your child is too young to confirm that he has the kind of eczema that will not disappear. It is tr...

Eczema

Hi Ajoy, I tried homeopathy for my daughter for over 6 months. Her condition got worse for sure, although I don't know if it was because of the medicine or it was just supposed to. The doc tried so many of the homeo medications. He would call us in every 2 weeks and collect his fees for sure but not...

Hi P Joshi

For a starter with no experience at all..AED7K is a very good offer compared to what other Indian + India educated (sorry but discrimination whether justified or not is very much rooted in the country). However, you will have to cut corners to be able to save anything...no clubbing, do your own cook...

However, some kind of medical cover would be recommended....minor illnesses can set you back by 300-400 easily...Even Govt hospitals now charge expats...I know some stuff about Sharaf Group and its more than electronics...

Renting out an apartment for a new comer may not be that feasible, almost 99.99% will ask for cheques in advance, for which you will have to get a current account immediately. The other issue is that rent is usually paid at least quarterly...we are currently paying 6 months rent together..some place...

Another thing...you may have to search harder than for the families, as some buildings have a no bachelor policy. I would recommend best thing is to take up a decent room initially, and then work on getting an apartment to share.

Avian flu is probably not as bad for humans in general....but for the birds I can't say! More people have died out of influenza in a day, then of Bird Flu from day one to now. Lot's of media hype...and to counter the hype the authorities over do their regulations. Very normal for this part of the wo...

Subcontinent origin, but western passport + accent you are in a better position than plain subcontinent. Busy no ...more later
