Well ..we are scared to take our final decision about moving to Live in Dubai . It is not easy to leave our house and it may be risky to make husband leave his job in Usa :roll:

we went to Newport (Rhod Iland -New Ingland) In Usa Charming town with great beach and Historical Mansions.. But I had an argument about road directions while driving there with dear husband and then we got so Mad from each other and he drove back to our house ...We had to pay for the Newport hotel ...

In his opinion as faR as he is having an okay salary in USA then it is not worth to move there as salaries in Dubai does not look that attractive regarding construction filled and as it is very difficult to move to a new life an...

Hi,
Do you think that learning and knowing the local langauge in Dubai(writing and reading) is an extra you can add to your professional"s Resume!! Or simply the Hiring companies do not care about that option !!

I think knowing Hindi/Urdu is much more beneficial in the construction buisness than Arabic... In the Medical field Arabic is probably helpful if your going to be dealing with Arab patients, but i dont see it as essential as in the fields that Bobbie mentioned Intresting !!! those ppl should change...

If we will work to a company run by local ppl then ( even if it will be in construction filled )then I do believe that we can be more close to the ppl there by knowing there language especially when dealing with the boss and the rest of the team. I am not going to ask if learning Hindi is an advanta...

Guys you are still safe and have cheaper gas rate than us in USA .
The damn gas is still going up. My husband is paying now 3.27 us per /litre and he had to drive 1 and half hour/2 times aday to his work and back home :x

What I would suggest if it is possible, do the first 2 or 3 years via distance then transfer your credits to a school where you can go on Campus, I’m not sure what it is like here but distance education in Canada gets a bad rap and employers much prefer people who go to more “established” schools. ...
