Should there be seperate bathrooms for humans and animals?

Humans being those who go to the bathroom, do their stuff, use toilet paper and gtfo. Animals are those who for some reason see it fit to take a shower in the toilet, you can tell an animal has been in a stall before you by checking for the following clues: - Floor is flooded with water - Toilet sea...

Great logic, so in other countries with no showers in the stalls do they climb on the sink and crouch like gargoyles to wash?

One day if you ever have the chance to go to another country, you'll get hit with a hard reality brick in the face when you notice that there are no "bidets" in public bathrooms. And if someone finds it hygienic to spray fecal matter riddled water onto the floor, then they should really ta...

To all the idiots on your high horses asking "what toilets have you been to?" try any bathroom in a workplace that you are forced to share with workers. Bottom line, there should be a fine for people who leave the john in a disgusting state. Or to a lesser extent a sign on the wall remindi...

Judging by that poor attempt at a joke I'd say I'm not the only one. I don't see a reason why dirty stalls would be humorous to anyone, unless toilet humor is kinda your thing.

Calm down kids, what we really need is a mid-range beach where you pay an entrance fee of lets say 50-60 dhs (affordable, yet high enough to keep unwanted people in) with decent facilities like a pool, showers, changing rooms, snack bar and the beach could make extra income by offering water sports ...

Dubai Has Always Been Bankrupt -- Morally and Environmentall

Dubai is finally financially bankrupt – but it has been morally bankrupt all along. The idea that Dubai is an oasis of freedom on the Arabian peninsular is one of the great lies of our time. Yes, it has Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts and the Gucci styles, but beneath these accouterments, there is a d...

Re: Burj Dubai

Well said Robby, sheikh mo' must have been weeping from the inside when he announced the new name. Nothing says "we own you now" like taking the name of the city's biggest achievement.

UAE-wide smoking ban comes into force

"Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, President of the UAE, signed a wide-ranging anti-tobacco bill today that would ban smoking in a variety of places, including cars and cafes and prohibit imports of tobacco that do not meet strict guidelines." http://www.thenational.ae/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/2...

Re: Sheik Essa Aquitted.

Lets all team up and take this Sheikh Essa to the desert then beat him senseless. When confronted by authorities we'll simply claim that he spiked a punch bowl at our party with 66 different types of medicine that put us out of our minds caused us to perform insane acts. We'll say he did it for the ...

Re: Sheikh Al Nahyan dead?

3 days of mourning starting from Wednesday, does this mean there is a public holiday? I'm surprised nobody knows.

Public/Private sector holiday tomorrow?

Anyone know if wednesday and thursday will be holidays because of the mourning of sheikh nahyan?

IMO it would not be respectful for companies to operate during the mourning period. What kind of sick people could even think of working after such a tragedy! Please someone confirm that tomorrow is off.

Re: Public/Private sector holiday tomorrow?

No days off have been announced, a blatant slap in the collective faces of the royal family. How can people be expected to go to work after such a traumatic event?

Ducks on SZR today

I was driving along SZR this morning around 8:30 and saw a family of ducks stranded on the side of the road (around the Metropolitan) outside the left lane, people were slowing down to look at them. It was a mother duck with about 6 or 7 of her ducklings, I hope someone called the appropriate author...

Dear du

34 minutes.. that's how long I waited on the phone for someone from customer service to answer before hanging up. Actually this is not entirely true, I had a nice dinner before coming back to the pleasure of the 437th iteration of the two-note homogeneous tune you have playing in a loop, interrupted...
