Chocoholic wrote:Sorry but what the hell kinda way to teach the time by 8 til 12? Crap English or what!

Not really.

Perhaps if it said "8 'til 12" you would be happier?

Or perhaps "The current time is eight minutes until twelve."

Chocoholic wrote:There's no 'until' at all! It's 8 minutes TO 12!

It's like saying 5 and 20 past 8!

Of course there is an until It is quite OK to say, it will be 8 minutes until 12. One can also say 8 minutes TO 12, but in actual fact, I think the UNTIL is more gramatically correct.

Accidents like this will continue to happen while people treat SZR like the German Autobahn. The other morning I saw a pretty big smash between two SUVs (one ran very fast into the back of another) because people are just driving too fast and are driving too closely. I think the Dubai police and RTA...

Major turn off.

I don't dig tattoos on girls, especially those ones above the bum crack, quite possibly the worst. Even if I fell in love with a girl with one of these, I would be like "One of us have to go... me or the thing above your arse".

Re: what da hell?

(rent is about the same as inner-city Sydney and internet is slightly more expensive). Otherwise everything else is cheaper and you're not paying income tax + gst on your earnings. That's a slight understatement mate... 64mb connection here is still more expensive than a 2g connection back home - e...

Recharging Wasel Prepaid Online

Does anyone know a way I can recharge my Wasel online without having to give a landline or po box (which I don't currently have)?

Otherwise I have to keep buying those pain in the a** scratch cards... and I'm lazy and don't want to walk to the shop.

It would be cool to get together this weekend as well, although I think "Scarlet" wants to go to the beach. Do you want me to send through a list of things I'm good at and things I'm not :P

Do they have go-cart racing in Dubai?

Could somebody help to find a reliable real estate Thanks You will find them at the same place where they hand out free Porsches and Elvis is on hand to give you autographs. i.e. I've yet to find anyone in Real Estate reliable. To make the bans work here we put the responsibility on the venue not the smoker .... i.e. if a bar is found to be breaching the no smoking laws then they get fined heavily. This way it is clearly within their best interest to enforce the law and remove anyone who breaks it. There was alot of prote...

Smoking Related Deaths

On another note with respect to what is categorised as a smoking related death: If you eat 20 cheeseburgers and 2 litres of coke a day and smoke, if you die of a heart attack, this is a smoking related death. If you worked in an aluminium smelter and smoke, even if its the bauxite dust that kills yo...
