It seems like the Egyptians like to humiliate their victims by stripping them. Having come into contact with one Egyptian man, this doesn't surprise me. They do seem a weird bunch.

The man is in the hospital and is claiming the police were actually saving him from anti-Morsi protesters because the protesters thought he was a Morsi supporter. Video, however, looks like the police were clubbing him on the ground and I don't see a swarm of protesters nearby the police were saving him from.
