Hi there.

I attempted to port forward my router, but the problem is that I don't the option for Address Translation, I only have the Admin Password and Learn More options, what can I do?

Thanks in advance for your help

By default both the username and password are admin. Click the Log In button to log in to your router.

Click the Security button near the left of the page.

Click the Address Translation button near the center of the page.

Click the Configure link near the center of the page.

Click the Add a custom By-Pass entry link near the bottom of the page.

Now, Choose service or enter the desired values manually:
Redirect selected protocol/service to IP Address: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

etc..

finally test your port forwarding at:

Thanks for the link, but I've already been there...

I followed it step by step and when it didn't work I posted the thread here...

I think the problem is the static IP, because I can never download from Rapidshare, Megaupload, etc... It always says your IP is already downloading....

I don't understand what the problem is...

Thanks for all your help :D

always downloading that's mean your IP or a portion of your IP address is shared with some others ISP's customers, that if u got the connection at home, not at work.

I was suffering the same until i bought a rapidshare premium account, after that i have no worries any more. getting a rapidshare account is worthy if u need to download some important files often.

well, for peer to peer downloading, try Limewire or eMule. both are great, and eMule is the nicest among of p2p clients.

Good luck and happy downloading...
