Working In Rashidiya Area - Where To Live?

Working in Rashidiya Area - Where to live? Dec 10, 2005
Hi all,
If my husband worked in Rashidiya area, where would you recommend to live with 2 children (1 is 5 yrs ready for school [prefer British school] other 6 months) and of course a school nearby? Willing to travel up to 30 minutes if that helps?

I am a fan of living close to work and lucky for you Rashidiya itself does have some nice places i beleive so does mirdif which is in the vicinity .. just try to make sure your not in the flight path of the airport ..

The biggest problem with Mirdif, is the schools! I would factor in a bit more travelling time than 30mins if you stay in Mirdif area to get to good English schools! Most of these are located on the other side oif the creek

For an example what about in Festival City
(DEIRA International School -New > near the Garhoud Bridge) then travelling to Mirdif area (where my Husbands work is and probably live? or visa versa and we live in Festival City and he travels to work [sounds better to me]
