Im currently in Australia and have been offered a IT position doing Level 1/2 Support for an Investment firms Executives , They have offered 80K US with relocation costs from Australia and first 8 weeks accomodation paid for then its just the 80K US with no other inclusions.

Im just wondering if this is a average wage for such a position or would there be alot more movement for wage negotiation ?

This is a good package. Are you on your own? with family & kids? If with family & kids, it may not be sufficient. First 8 weeks accomm. paid for is pretty generous! We only got 2 weeks.

If you have a family, you should negotiate for more (i.e. childrens schooling). Also, is medical & a trip back to Oz included?
