Hi, this is probably a simple question but I have been searching the internet for sometime and still struggling. What is the step by step process to get residency sponsored by my husband?
My husband has residency through work registered in Abu Dhabi although he works in Dubai. Unfortunately the immigration guy at his work is not very helpful and has some communication issues. We are at the stage where we have had our marriage certificate authenticated (stamped by NZ internal and foreign affairs as well as NZ consulate). I think we need to get it translated and stamped by UAE foreign affairs but I can't find an address for them and no answer on the phone... we have to apply in Abu Dhabi... any suggestions?
I'm getting worried because my visit visa expires in 6 days. Whats the best border to cross if I have to renew it?
