Moving to Dubai in March and looking for recommendations for good/reliable movers from the US:

- Recommended companies?
- Approximate cost range for 2 bedroom apartment worth of items?
- How long does it take?

1) Do not use Intermove or Translogistics. Go for MI Group.
2) $6000 CAD (including a car)
3) Approx. 30-35 days from an EST zone with an available port

l'll be moving to Abu Dhabi in August, but my husband is going next month. I want to ship some boxes, so if you get a container, I wonder if you would be interested in letting me send my boxes in your container, I will pay you of course. I live in Waterloo so I could come to Toronto. Let me know.

Liban, I found MI group to be pretty crap. Our company uses them for all relocations cause they are cheap (& nasty). They had 4 weeks to get in contact with me regarding my move but I ended up having to call them 2 days before I was due to fly to get my things packed up.

indi....sure thing...actually I expect to be moving to Abu Dhabi myself. I hv not yet started my search for movers/shippers...if you or anyone else can recommend someone...that would be a good place to start.

Ok thanks. I am expecting to sell everything before going, we dont have much stuff anyways, but I have books, CD's and personal belongings that I have to ship, but if I can send it in someone's container we may help each other with costs I think.
