The Motor Town, http://TheMotorTown.com , in cooperation with http://SaveTheGhafTree.org , is organizing a competition between all clubs/communities in UAE to increase people awareness about the Ghaf tree; and you are invited to cooperate in this competition.

The competition is divided to two parts as the following:

1. Where Am I?

Where Am I? is a competition between clubs where each club members should look for Ghaf trees in UAE and get their location (on a map or as a GPS location), mention how many trees are there: 1 tree, 2-10, 11-20, 21-40 or more than 40. In addition, a photo should be taken of the location with the Ghaf tree to make sure it's a Ghaf tree that was seen.

Members can send their information directly to wassim@TheMotorTown.com with contact information: Name and number and to which club the member belongs. All e-mails will be consolidated later on by The Motor Town and will be given to SaveTheGhafTree campaign organizer to announce the winner club. A member can send many e-mails with different locations.

The winner is the club that reports the maximum number of trees.

2. Photo Me

Photo Me is a competition between individuals where each person can submit maximum of five photos of Ghaf trees taken by him/her to wassim@TheMotorTown.com with contact information: Name and number and to which club the member belongs (if available).

The winner is the person who gets the best photo.

This competition starts at the time this announcement is posted and ends by a ceremony done by SaveTheGhafTree in Marsh (date is not announced yet) where then, prizes will be distributed to winners.
