Hilarious! Maybe someone should have reminded them that their Pilgrim Fathers came from Plymouth, UK!
Or maybe they should be reminded that their "fathers" did not come from any place at all but where always there - American 'Indians".
Or maybe they came from Africa, or Europe (proper) or Latin America, or India or China, or Southeast Asia, or..... I think that is what makes America, America and Americans.
I guess different people have different idea of what Americans look like. Looking at the soldiers at the mall I can't figure it out. But I don't watch too much TV. Execpt sports so I thought they were all black!
That's what makes our nation great.
I like the fact that we invite lots of foreigners with talents into our country. For example, if you're a Russian athelete and we like your skills, we'll offer you a permanent US visa, give you good income, make you American and have you compete for us in the olympics.
Same with Indian doctors, Canadian wrestlers, etc etc
This is how we're superior to all nations in every aspect. Sports, medicene, education (US universities) etc..
so what you're saying is that you rely on the skills, intelligence, and ability of others to build your 'great' nation....
not the skills of your own people...
There is no "your own people" in America. Majority of Americans aren't true Americans. We're foreigners, in a way. We're from all over the world - UK, Ireland, Germany, Russia, Israel, India, China, Australia etc
This is what makes our nation great. People come here, use their skills and make this country even more powerful.
This is why we're a superpower. Different people, different talents, different skills, contributing to this nation's economy in tons of different ways.
