I generally don't mind telling people about my salary if they ask, but then again I have never made a huge salary, so no one will think I am bragging To be honest, hardly anyone asks about my salary unless they are in the same field and want to know how much they should be looking for. I disagree with the other poster who thinks you shouldn't share salary details with even your wife! Of course a husband and wife should share their financial info and do budgeting together.
