What exactly have you seen happen here in Dubai related to the Bribery charges?

Sage: I can't tell you.

Then why bother to enter the fray?

I think bribery now is a very common things and it's open to all people in this world. It's better do bribery than they do corruption. Better tell the truth than lying right?

So if I read you right you think that bribery is ok but corruption is not?

one goes with the other, cant separate them, one bribes, the other takes. taking bribes is corruption. none is "better" than the other, corruption is worst though, i think.

We just need to accept that corruption is part and parcel of every society and country in the world. Some just fail to realise that what they are doing is corruption, but will point their fingers at the world at large.

Some times "Monk who sold my Ferrari" helps in realising that we all live in this fake matrix created by few rich individuals controlling our actions in a way ... they can control. They throw the advertisements at us, create the image and have us chase them for rest of our lives .... only to realise what we have lost.

I think this has gone off-topic. The fact that the defence even thought to put this up as a defence is reprehensible and maybe shows how widespread the problem is, and always has been. But clearly the court will throw it out if actually presented with it.

So it is total cr*p for people to say that bribery is LEGAL. 'Widely accepted' I might accept. Please, just stop the ludicrous bashing.
