Can Anyone Give Me Some Property Advice

I am considering buying a studio apartment in International City, primarily to rent out, but also for occasional use myself. I don't pretend to know Dubai well, and would really appreciate some advice from those living there permanently. Do you think this area has real investment potential? Many Thanks! M
